The MN Flying Aces are a Junior A Tier III Team - We will move you to the next level in hockey!
Through quality coaching, mental and physical training, a supportive community, and a variety of experiences on and off the ice, we will: provide opportunities for amateur hockey athletes to further develop their hockey skills; provide protected amateur status to maintain college and higher level hockey eligibility; and provide opportunities, encouragement and support in further developing individual and community life skills, assets they will use throughout their lives and careers.
Minnesota Legacy Hockey has partnered with PHT, to Provide All our Goalies with Individualized On and off Ice training. Part of a MLH Goalie’s Package includes Over 20 hours of “Goalie Only “specific on and off ice training. More Supplemental Goalie training Sessions is available, during normal MLH Practices.
Youth hockey moved to the City of Springfield operated Nelson Center and in 1985 the Springfield Capitals, a semiprofessional team was established. In 1993, a new owner and management
group purchased a NAHL franchise, which became known as the Springfield Jr. Blues.
Hockey has become the oldest and most successful fan supported sport in the city of Springfield.
The Springfield Jr. Blues is a member of the North American Hockey League (Jr. A)
Any level of skater is welcome to join WHAM. There are seven levels of teams (C3, C2, C1, B2, B1, A2, A1) that range from Olympic-caliber athletes to true beginners, just learning to skate. Coaches and managers are welcome also. Be assured that there's a place for you in WHAM!
